Block of the Month programs coming in 2012

We are working on setting up Block of the Month programs for you in 2012. All of these programs will be offered to you through the shop or through our webstore, whichever is most convenient for you. At this time we only have three in the works, mainly because I like to test the patterns before I build the program. That way I know if there are going to ‘bumps in the road’ throughout the year.

The first Block of the Month that we will be offering in 2012 is the Bella Verona BOM from Wing and a Prayer Designs.

Bella Verona Block of the month

. This block of the month uses the Bella Verona fabric line designed by Wing and a Prayer Design for Timeless Treasures. All of the selections in this line are rich and elegant. You have to get up very close to see that these aren’t actually batik fabrics. We think you will love this one. You can see more details about this block of the month by clicking here and going to our webstore.

Our second Block of the Month program also comes from Wing and a Prayer designs (they were both so gorgeous I just couldn’t choose one over the other).

This block of the month features Tonga Batiks. It shimmers and twinkles with star blocks in several sizes. You will fall in love when you get up close to this one. There is lots of ‘eye candy’ from both far and near. You can see all the information for this block of the month by clicking here and going to our webstore.

Back for the third year is another Civil War offering in our block of the month program.

Civil War Journals

Civil War Journals is the third quilt designed by Homestead Hearth in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. This year you will be able to choose to make the queen-sized quilt or you can use the blocks to make 4 wallhangings. Whichever way you choose to go, you will be creating a treasure. Click here to go to our webstore to see pictures of the 4 wallhangings as well as all of the pertinent information about this block of the month.

Well that’s all the BOMS we have scheduled right now. BUT, we aren’t finished. I just got in the details about another very affordable program that we will offer. You will be able to use your stash or we will provide the fabric for you each month. How’s that for a teaser????

What do you think of these Block of the Months? Are there others that you think we should consider? I’m deputizing all of you to be Log Cabin Quilt Shop researchers. Let’s find the best block of the month offerings and report back here.

Keep Stitching!

    • Susie,
That’s a very good question! Let me do some checking and I will let you know. It looks like it was accidentally deleted from the webstore. Margie
